The Sensitive Paintings are in a permanent and constant state of transformation and change, self-erasure and renewal. They speak to paintings history and ideas of risk, invisibility, impossibility and time. They activate the gallery with anticipation and adventure, instigating dialogue between phenomenology and ontology, perception and memory, the visual and physical and the sensing of contemporary temporal and atemporal worlds.

A collection of writings like an electrical current that reverses many times, at many intervals, that changes magnitude with time and somehow magically transmits power over long distances. Resting uncomfortably with instability and contradiction, the Sensitive Paintings seek to hold tension and dialogue between plane and space; they are made for you to place yourself somewhere near and for the interesting feeling of being sensed by other things.
